Abstract
The description of Aspergillus alliaceus Thorn and Church, a member of the A. wentii Group, is emended to include a perfect stage which differs from all other ascosporic Aspergilli. Multiple discrete thin-walled cleistothecia develop within a sclerotioid stromatic body which retains a heavy outer wall even when the ascocarps are completely mature. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
