States ofMo97

The ${\mathrm{Mo}}^{96}\mathrm{}(d,p)\mathrm{}{\mathrm{Mo}}^{97}$ reaction has been studied using 12-MeV deuterons accelerated in the University of Pennsylvania Tandem Van de Graaff, and thin separated ${\mathrm{Mo}}^{96}$ layers deposited on carbon backings. The proton spectra were determined with a broad-range Browne-Buechner spectrograph. Seventeen states of ${\mathrm{Mo}}^{97}$ with $E_x\lesssim 2.6$ MeV have been identified.
