Abstract
The Kα1h and the Kα2h hypersatellites of molybdenum were observed in a conventional x-ray spectrum analysis. The energy separation between the hypersatellites and the corresponding characteristic lines were measured and found to be in good agreement with the results obtained from Hartree-Fock calculations. The relative intensity ratio Kα1hKα2h was computed and compared with the results of intermediate-coupling calculations.
