Abstract
To determine the most sensitive parameters in the electrophysiological diagnosis of polyneuropathy, nerve conduction was studied in various sensory and motor leg nerves in human diabetics. Distal nerves were more affected than proximal ones. There was poor correlation between neurographic results and the severity of clinical symptoms. No relationship was found between the degree of alteration of the individual neurographic parameter and the duration of diabetes and the fasting blood glucose level. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
