Abstract
Pancreatic extract inhibited the aerobic and anaerobic gly-colysis of cancer tissue. Extracts of malt diastase, taka-diastase, and salivary gland inhibited glycolyses in cancer tissue. There was only a slight trace of lactic acid formed from hexosemonophosphate and hexosediphosphate by cancer tissue. In the soluble muscle enzyme system, the production of lactic acid from hexosedi-phosphate was inhibited by pancreatic extract, while the production of lactic acid from hexosemonophosphate was not inhibited by pancreatic extract. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
