Abstract
Mossbauer spectra of Fe2TiO5 in the temperature range 4.2 to 80K have been fitted with a model of random distribution of Fe3+ and Ti4+ ions in the cation lattice sites. The temperature variation of the components of the fit corroborates the assignment of spin glass behaviour which has recently been reported. Keywords
