Critical fluctuations in Ni observed with the Mössbauer effect

Abstract
Spin correlation times for atoms in a Ni host are derived from Mössbauer-effect line broadening. The results agree with those derived from perturbed angular correlations in to within a factor of 2, and suggest that hyperfine correlation times in the critical region are not strongly probe dependent.
