Abstract
"Four young raccoons were trained on three sets of 75 object-quality discrimination problems of 20 trials each interspersed among four sets of five problems in which training was carried to criterion. Progressive intra-problem improvement occurred as training progressed, although performance never attained the proficiency of primates. Instead, proficiency was more nearly comparable to that shown by cats.".Keywords
