Abstract
Differential cross sections are calculated using the two-state and four-state impact-parameter treatments for elastic and inelastic collisions in the keV-energy region. The cross sections, computed as a function of scattering angle, are compared with those evaluated from the Born-wave and unitarized-Born approximations. Interesting differences are observed.
