Abstract
In a series of twenty-five cases of benign tertian malaria treated with pentaquin, 20 mg., given 8 hourly for 10 days (Course SN) the relapse rate after a 6-month period was 12 per cent. of all cases treated. The equivalent figure for a course of pentaquin, 20 mg., given concurrently with quinine, 10 grains, 8 hourly for 10 days (Course Q/SN) was 11·5 per cent. Keywords
