Abstract
Chickens were thymectomized during the 1st 72 hr. of their life. Controls were intact or sham-operated chickens of the same age. All chickens were simultaneously inoculated with Rous sarcoma virus at the age of 10-12 days. Thymectomy had a stimulating effect on induction of the Rous sarcomas and tumor growth rate. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
