Abstract
The diffusion coefficient of D+ in LiNbO3 single crystals at elevated temperatures has been measured by monitoring the growth of the OD− optical absorbance in samples heated in D2O vapor. The diffusion coefficient at 873 K is ∼5×10−8 cm2/s for diffusion either parallel or perpendicular to the z axis, and the activation energy parallel to the z axis is 1.4 eV.Keywords
