Deformation Parameters of ${}^{152}{Sm}$ by Electron Scattering

Abstract

We have measured the cross sections for excitation of the ground-state rotational band in

{}^{152}{Sm}

by high-energy electrons. The ground-state charge distribution has been determined including the deformation parameters

β_{2}

and

β_{4}

of the nuclear surface.
