Abstract
The steroids from two soft corals of the genus Capnella have been determined. Capnella sp. nov . afforded the novel pregnane derivatives 3-methoxy-19-norpregna-1,3,5(10),20-tetraen-4-ol (8) and 19-norpregna- 1,3,5(10),20-tetraen-3-ol (10) while Capnella erecta yielded the previously described pregna-1,20-dien-3-one (13).Keywords
