Abstract

The coefficients

A_{6}^{∥}

and

A_{6}^{⊥}

of R⁻⁶ in the long‐range expansion of the helium diatom polarizability tensor have been computed with the result

A_{6}^{∥} = 60.09 a.u.

and

A_{6}^{⊥} = 28.43 a.u.
