Abstract
Hematozoa are reported from 221 spruce grouse, Canachites canadensis, from Alaska, of which 5 were available also for bone marrow examination. Over 90% showed some parasitemia. The parasites observed in the blood were Leucocytozoon (181), Haemoproteus (137), Trypanosoma (90), Plasmodium (4), Hepatozoon (1), and microfilariae (49).This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
