Abstract
The authors present a quantum electrodynamic model, soluble in the dipole and rotating wave approximation, for a three-level atom interacting with a two-mode resonant radiation field through the multiphoton transition mechanism. Population dynamics and photon statistics in this Jaynes-Cummings type model are examined. Keywords
