Abstract
Human Rhabdomyosarcoma is a relatively rare tumor form. Two cases in the larynx, a site which is extremely rare, are reported. Only 9 cases were described and documented, and 1 case seems to be the 1st of the alveolar type found at this site. Diagnostic and differential diagnostic considerations are discussed. Hoarseness is the commonest and earliest symptom. Treatment should be radical operation, often with laryngectomy, supplemented by irradiation and chemotherapy. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
