Antishielding of Nuclear Electric Hexadecapole Moments

Abstract
The antishielding factor for a possible nuclear electric hexadecapole moment has been calculated for the , and ions, using the Hartree-Fock wave functions for the , , and electrons involved. It was found that , , and . The implication of these results is discussed.
