Pseudo particle method for nonlinear polarizabilities and multi-photon processes

Abstract

A method for the calculation of the nonlinear polarizabilities and multi- photon processes using the pseudo particle states is proposed. It is applied for the calculation of the hyperpolarizability and the third harmonic generation coefficient of He and Ne.
