Abstract
In a study of the RPCF test, Foster, Nicol and Stone found excellent agreement with the Treponema pallidum immobilization test, and concluded that the RPCF is a good routine test for treponemal disease because of its technical simplicity, its dependence upon an antibody different from reagin, and its sensitivity, reproducibility and specificity. The RPCF test became reactive before the 2 reagin tests employed in 2 patients with darkfield positive primary syphilis. Keywords
