Abstract
Pion correlations are calculated for a recently proposed model of ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions. Ingredients of the model are evaporation of globs of quark-gluon plasma followed by pion scattering in the final state. The model predicts strong correlations between the longitudinal momentum and position of the source. The predicted transverse source size is smaller than preliminary findings from a recent experiment. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
