Abstract
Line profiles of Cs perturbed by Xe are calculated in the unified theory of Anderson and Talman. The short range and the long range parts of the potential are represented by two square-wells. We compare their respective effects on the characteristics of the profile. The results improve our understanding of the collision processKeywords
