Abstract
A single-channel pulse-height analyser of high speed and precision is described suitable in particular for fast coincidence experiments (resolving time 0·1 µsec). The channel width can be chosen at several values between 2 and 15 v and remains constant to better than 2 parts in 1000 over l0 hours, permitting statistically significant single counts of 105. The channel centre is continuously variable within a 50 v range; its r.m.s. fluctuation during 10 hours is smaller than 70 mv.Keywords
