Abstract
Wheat seedlings supplied with P respired approximately 6% more C02 than seedlings not supplied with P. Those plants on a complete nutrient soln. as compared to those on a nutrient solution lacking P contained more insoluble and less soluble N, less reducing sugar, and more insoluble and more soluble P. Respiration is not limited by a lack of available carbohydrates, but is limited by a lack of P.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
