Abstract
The asymmetry and differential cross section for elastic scattering of mesons from polarized protons have been measured at meson momenta of 1.54 and 1.71 GeV/c, and these new data have been included in an energy-independent phase-shift analysis. The wave obtained displays some resonancelike character.
