Abstract
We present the experiences and lessons learned in design and qualification of NASA's fist fiber optic-data bus. This includes radiation effects testing, qualification testing, design parameters, and possible design recommendations for future consideration. In addition, spaceflight Single Event Effects (SEE) data are discussed.<>Keywords
