Gribov-Pomeranchuk Pole in the Regge-Pole Residues

Abstract
We consider a mechanism for generating a nonsense wrong-signature fixed pole in the scattering amplitude based on a certain class of Feynman diagrams. We show that the presence of a fixed pole in the Reggepole residue is expected when we include an effect of the third double-spectral function in an appropriate way, and discuss its phenomenological implications in connection with dip-bump structures in differential cross sections. In particular, a certain channel-independent feature of a fixed-pole effect is pointed out and a comparison with the data is made.
