Abstract
A qualitative survey of the plankton flagellate community at an inshore locality of the coast of southern Norway by means of light and electron microscopy during late autumn 1979, revealed the presence of many species, 54 of which could be determined to species, Prymnesiophyceae 17, Chrysophyceae 13, Prasinophyceae 6, and Choanoflagellida 18. Two new species of Choanoflagellida are described: Pleurasiga echinocostata ESPELAND and Acanthoecopsis campanula ESPELAND.Keywords
