Abstract
The effect of hypophysectomy on the 2.5-hour uptake of p32 by the brain, endocrine glands and other organs of adult male rats is reported. An increased uptake was found in cerebellum, cerebral cortex and hypothalamus while the uptake of medulla oblongata pons and thalamus remained essentially unchanged. An increased uptake of p32 after nypophysectomy was also found in blood, liver, diaphragm, pancreas, thymus and adrenal medulla. Keywords
