Abstract
The ethnic diversity of patients in most training centers requires that attention be given to cultural issues affecting the psychiatric presentation and treatment of patients from different backgrounds. This paper describes programs in transcultural psychiatry for medical students, residents, and fellows that have been implemented and refined at UCLA over the past six years. Suggestions are offered for the development of such programs elsewhere. Keywords
