Abstract
Laser-excited resonance Raman spectra of molecular vibrations in the gaseous, liquid, and solid state are reviewed. A short summary of the recently developed Raman techniques for absorbing materials is also given. A bibliography is added in an appendix which covers the literature of laser-excited resonance Raman spectra of molecular vibrations of more complicated molecules, mostly of biological interest. Keywords
