A-Decomposing Enzyme Derived from Human and Pig Livers

Abstract
Extracts from pig and human livers of all blood groups, contain α-N-acetylgalactosaminidase as A-decomposing enzyme, which destroys A activity of A substance or A red cells with enhancement of H activity. They also contain α-galactosidase and α-fucosidase, which hardly destroy the blood group specific activities of intact B and H substances, but the α-fucosidase destroys H activity of oligosaccharide.
