Abstract
The analgesic effect [in mice], solubility, stability, partition coefficient, protein binding ratio and chemical mutagenic property [Escherichia coli and Salmonella] of 4-formylaminoantipyrine, which is a new metabolite of aminopyrine, were examined and compared with those of aminopyrine and other metabolites. Apparently 4-formylaminoantipyrine is a stable and biologically inert compound and one of the final metabolites of aminopyrine. Keywords
