Abstract
Mutants of Escherichia coli K12 unable to grow on phenylacetate have been isolated and mapped. The mutations were located in the relatively ''silent'' region of the E. coli K12 chromosome at min 30.4 on the genetic map, with the gene order rac pac-1 pac-2 trg. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
