Abstract
The authors present numerical solutions of the hypernetted chain equation for the pair distribution function of the classical two-dimensional Coulomb gas over a wide range of couplings, 0.12/kBT<300. The pair structure and thermodynamics have a behaviour reminiscent of the three-dimensional case. Keywords
