Abstract
Thiouracil, a thiourea derivative, was given orally in gradually reduced doses to 9 patients with thyrotoxicosis. Their symptoms disappeared and their BMR returned to normal within from 3 to 7 wks. No toxic effects were encountered.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
