Abstract
Three novel modifications of the immunoelectrophoresis and immunodiffusion techniques for more sensitive detection of low levels of precipitating antibody are described under the designations "cross-over" electrophoresis, "counter-current" electrophoresis and "90% serum-in-agar microspot" immunodiffusion. The last is particularly useful for the detection of spontaneous anti-mold precipitins in the sera of asthmatic patients and of autoimmune precipitating antibodies. Keywords
