Abstract
Electron attachment coefficients, alpha a have been measured in NF3-N2 and NF3-rare gas mixtures over E/N range of 0.303a/(NF3) initially increases, reaches a peak value and decreases thereafter. The two-body attachment rate coefficients have been estimated by assuming the drift velocity of electrons in the mixtures to be the same as that in the buffer gas. Keywords
