Proton Hole States inAl29,P31, andP33

Abstract
The low-lying states in Al29, P31, and P33 have been studied via the reactions Si30(d, He3)Al29, Mg26(α, p)Al29, S32(d, He3)P31, S34(d, He3)P33, and Si30(α, p)P33. Spectroscopic factors have been extracted for the (d, He3) reactions leading to two final states in Al29, three in P31, and two in P33. In the Si30(d, He3)Al29 reaction, we observed l=2 and l=0 angular distributions from reactions leading to the ground state and first excited state, respectively. For the S34(d, He3)P33 reaction, we obtained an l=0 distribution for the reaction to the ground state and an l=2 distribution for the reaction to the second excited state.
