Abstract
The six new cases and review of the literature concerning "acquired aphasia with convulsive disorder" by Paquier et al1constitute a useful benchmark in the 3.5-decade history of this clinical phenomenon.2,3From the personal perspective of attaining three score and seven and the condition of Status Eponymicus, I can find no basis for ego gratification.
