Abstract
Examination of serial liver biopsies fixed in sub-acetate formal and stained with toluidine blue, of 5 dogs before and during prolonged peptone shock, revealed no consistent change in the number or morphology of the liver mast cells, although heparinemia, as tested by protamine, occurred.Keywords
