The zinc content of epidermal structures in beriberi

Abstract
Data are produced to show that the amt. of Zn in natural foodstuffs is positively correlated with that of aneurin and that in beriberi the Zn contents of the toe nails, finger nails and skin are reduced to half their normal values. Zn deficiency may be a factor in the beriberi syndrome.
