Abstract
The 2 cases reported had been under observation over a period of yrs., during which adequate opportunity was afforded to study the course of the disease and the response to several methods of treatment. More recently both patients were treated with stilbestrol. A remarkable improvement occurred, both in the clinical and objective findings, in the more advanced case, and a satisfactory response was obtained with the 2d patient. The results of hormone assays before and after treatment are given; the most striking finding was the reduction of high androgen values after treatment with stilbestrol. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
