Abstract
Erythrocytes infected with P. berghei and P. knowlesi were examined by phase and electron microscopy. These parasites appeared, at the stages at which they were examined, to lie within the host erythrocytes. Electron microscopy of the parasites showed that their structure, though less elaborate than that of higher animal cells, is essentially similar. Keywords
