Abstract
Human and rat alveolar macrophages produced hemolytic C2 [complement component 2] during in vitro culture. C2 synthetic ability is maintained during in vivo maturation of human monocytes to macrophages. Production of C components by mature tissue macrophages may be important for optimal generation of inflammatory responses. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
