Abstract
The major peptide product synthesized under the direction of the messenger A3U3-was lysphe. That messenger translation proceeds in a 5[image][forward arrow] 3[image] direction along the polynucleotide chain is in agreement with results currently reported elsewhere. Synthetic polynucleotide messengers may lack specific initiation sites, since peptide synthesis can be initiated at more or less random points along the messenger chain. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
