Actinomycosis: Solitary Nodule

Abstract
Actinomycosis is generally described as draining sinuses and is seldom considered in diagnosing solitary lesions of the neck. An atypical case is described in which a solitary cervical nodule simulated a metastatic lesion. Surgical treatment followed by short-term chemotherapy achieved excellent results.
