Abstract
The optical properties of elastic polymer opal prepared utilizing nanoscale polymer spheres as a flexible photonic crystal have been examined. The diffraction peak of the polymer opal has been confirmed to be controllable by the application of mechanical stress, showing its characteristics as a mechanically tunable photonic material. Keywords
