Abstract
Microminiature systems have been proposed which will use packing densities on the order of 106 active elements per cubic foot. The interconnecting of these elements has been of great concern to the authors. With these packing densities in mind, the authors have suggested that a complete new theory of machine organization be found. One such method is suggested, whereby rather large sequential circuits are implemented directly from their flow table representations. This method does require more active elements, but the interconnection problem is greatly reduced. Keywords
